Tomte draws nothing until you need it. Push the pointer against the top edge, press a hotkey or drag a file up there, and a pill grows into panels: a shelf you drag files in and out of, shortcuts, media controls, a Markdown scratchpad, clipboard history that skips password-manager items, and search for apps, files and settings. AI is optional and runs on your own key or Ollama: ask from anywhere, circle something on screen to ask about it, or dictate with speech turned into text on your PC.
